This photo shows the early days of evolution that were starting to take effect. Here the Bronco has recently aquired a '50 model straight axle with '65 spindles adapted. I worked a deal with a guy who wanted my transfer case and front end. I traded him those items for the straight axle and the help that I needed to install them. After a short while I installed a Borg Warner 4 speed transmission that was shifted on the column. Reverse was in the floor. I got tired of missing 3rd gear so I yanked it and replaced it with a C-6 automatic.
